Cottage 7, 'Aberdeen Home'

The money for this home was donated by supporters in Aberdeen of William Quarrier's work. The money was donated in 1880 with the following words 'The friend to whose memory this Home is given although an invalid for years before her death was one of the first to exert herself to interest friends in the North to help in the work. Miss Barclay (the friend) left the residue of her estate and to this was added other gifts.'
