Amongst the 117 children to sail on the SS Siberian on 30th March 1887.

Front row: 8 unnamed, 9 Alexander Innes (aged just 5) and 10 (his 7 year old brother) Louis Innes, 11 Daniel McPhail, 12 Alfred Corkill (not Corkhill) aged 6 who had been sent to the Orphan Homes, along with others, from the Industrial School in Douglas, Isle of Man, in order to join the migration party.
