Description: The first of two boys' groups that went that year. Outside the City Orphan Home, James Morrison Street, Glasgow (built by William Quarrier in 1875 before he built the Orphan Homes of Scotland.) One hundred boys sailed on the Allan Line's SS Hanoverian.
