Barnardo’s home child with farm equipment
It was common for home children, especially boys, to be sent to farms as labourers. This home child is driving horse-drawn farm equipment. Picture was taken by W W Hind Smith (a member of Barnardo’s Council) whilst accompanying the Canadian party of June and July 1912.
