Early and Effective Intervention (EEI)

EEI provides an opportunity to be kept out of formal systems.

Things that can happen if you are diverted to EEI:

• Nothing further happens
• The Police give you a warning
• You are offered support through school, from a health worker, a social worker or someone else
• You are referred for substance misuse work
• You could receive advice and information about drugs, alcohol and substances
• You are referred to the Children's Reporter
